Reliability Engineer
Description
As a Reliability Engineer, you are usually responsible for initiatives designed to improve the reliability and maintainability of plant systems. You are also tasked with developing and implementing Equipment Maintenance Plans; Failure Reporting, Analysis, and Corrective Action Systems; Root Cause Analysis programs; and other long-term initiatives.
Challenge
A very common challenge faced by Reliability Engineers is obtaining a full understanding of his or her roles and responsibilities and how these responsibilities can most efficiently relate to the roles and responsibilities of the Maintenance Engineer.
