Description

As a Condition Monitoring Analyst or Technician, you are typically responsible for monitoring and evaluating equipment health utilizing various technologies that allow early detection of defects. You provide your organization the time needed to plan, schedule, and correct issues in a proactive manner and reducing emergency maintenance or unplanned downtime.

Challenge

A common challenge that Condition Monitoring Technicians face stems from a misconception or confusion in terms. Condition Monitoring is often called Predictive Maintenance; as a result, a misconception arises that with applied technologies, an Analyst or Technician can forecast the remaining operational life of a piece of equipment.
